Pryscilla Balladares

Creative Artist

Storyteller | Collage Artist | Creative Consultant

Pryscilla is an Ecuadorian-American storyteller from the Midwest. As a writer, her focus is on womanhood, gender roles, and identity/self discovery. In 2020, she presented a table reading workshop of her one act play The Story of Man, a conversation between God and Lucifer (with an all woman cast) at the Alverno Community Conference.

She is a founding member of the multimedia performing arts collective, Heard Space. She has written short plays, scene work, and directed shows for the collective since 2018.

Pryscilla is the Creative Director for Miltown Vicious, a street wear brand she runs with her partner, based in Milwaukee, WI. In addition to merch, the brand films documentary style interviews of community members. The mission is to celebrate city natives and to encourage hometown pride.

Pryscilla has been delving into collage art and pairing it with her prose poetry. Most pieces are a reflection of who she is, was, or hopes to be. And some pieces are social and cultural commentary.

Currently, Pryscilla is a graduate student in counseling. She continues storytelling through diverse mediums, and she has opened up creative consultation services to connect and collaborate with other creatives.
